Analisis Perhitungan Daya Motor Dan Kecepatan Aliran Pada Wind Tunnel Tipe Open Circuit Dengan Test Section Area 0,4 X 0,4 m2

Wind tunnel (terowongan angin) yaitu peralatan uji berstruktur tabung dimana udara dipaksa melaju dengan kencang yang digunakan untuk mempelajari efek aliran aerodinamis pada suatu objek benda. Benda atau objek yang diuji ditempatkankan dibagian tengah test section. Maka udara direaksikan melewati objek benda dengan sebuah skema fan. Fan sangat penting pada pengujian aerodinamis suatu objek benda, sebab aliran yang stabil dan bagus sangat berpengaruh dalam pengujian wind tunnel. Selain pengaruh pada konstruksi wind tunnel, fan dan motor juga ikut berperan penting guna memperoleh aliran flow yang stabil untuk digunakan dalam pengujian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai CMH (Cubic Meter\Hour) yang dihasilkan dari fan, untuk mengetahui nilai keseluruhan jumlah kerugian energi pada tiap komponen wind tunnel, dan untuk mengetahui daya motor yang akan digunakan pada fan. Dari perhitungan yang telah dilakukan, maka nilai minimal air volume yang diperlukan pada bagian test section adalah sebesar 12.096.608,2 m3/h (Cubic Meter Hour). Perhitungan energy losses dari setiap komponen pada wind tunnel tipe open circuit yaitu : K0 = Honeycomb = 6,07523304, K1 = Screen = 6,07523304, K2 = Contraction = 5,9392, K3 = Test Section = 40, K4 = Diffuser = 39,364, K5 = Saluran discharge = 19,4907322, Maka total dari keseluruhan nilai tersebut dijumlahkan Ktotal = 116,944398, dan perhitungan nilai daya motor yang dibutuhkan sebesar 101.713,4 Watt.
