Implementasi Pengembangan Unit STB (Set-Top Box) Sebagai Sistem Home Server Dengan Menggunakan Firewall dan Docker

Latar Belakang: Transformasi teknologi mendorong pemanfaatan Set-Top Box (STB) HG680P Fiberhome dengan spesifikasi quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 1,51 GHz, RAM 2GB, storage 8GB sebagai infrastruktur server terintegrasi yang mendukung NAS, web server, dan sistem keamanan jaringan.
Tujuan: Mengembangkan sistem home server terintegrasi berbasis STB yang menyediakan layanan NAS, web server, dan firewall dengan pendekatan cost-effective menggunakan containerisasi Docker dan VPN.
Metode: Penelitian eksperimental kuantitatif menggunakan tiga unit STB HG680P dalam topologi multi-layer dengan implementasi OpenWRT, CASA OS, serta integrasi VPN ZeroTier, Tailscale, dan Cloudflare Tunnel.
Hasil dan Pembahasan: Load testing menunjukkan web server menangani 10.000 koneksi dengan request rate 282/detik. NAS mencapai transfer 2,3-3,0 MBps via VPN dengan utilisasi CPU 11%. Firewall berhasil menangkal SYN-Flood dan meningkatkan kualitas jaringan dari grade F ke A.
Kesimpulan: STB terbukti efektif sebagai home server terintegrasi dengan performa stabil, keamanan robust, dan efisiensi energi tinggi untuk implementasi server rumahan dan UKM.
