Prototipe Sistem Penyiraman Tanaman Otomatis Dengan Monitoring Suhu Dan Kelembapan Pada Tanah Menggunakan ESP 32 Berbasis IOT

Penyiraman tanaman merupakan faktor penting dalam menjaga pertumbuhan dan kesehatan tanaman, penyiraman tanaman yang dilakukan secara manual sering menimbulkan pemborosan air dan menguras tenaga, terutama ketika kondisi tanah yang sebenarnya masih lembab. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang prototipe sistem penyiraman otomatis berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32. Sistem dilengkapi sensor kelembapan tanah, sensor suhu dan kelembapan udara (DHT11), sensor suhu tanah (DS18B20), serta sensor ultrasonik HC-SR04 untuk memantau ketinggian air tangki. Data ditampilkan melalui LCD dan aplikasi Blynk, dengan notifikasi otomatis dikirimkan lewat Telegram. Metode penelitian meliputi perancangan perangkat keras, pemrograman dengan Arduino IDE, integrasi IoT, serta pengujian sensor. Hasil menunjukkan pompa aktif saat kelembapan tanah <40% RH dan berhenti saat >75% RH, sedangkan sensor ultrasonik berhasil mengirimkan notifikasi ke telegram saat air kurang dari 15% dan air lebih dari 90%. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah sistem penyiraman tanaman otomatis berbasis ESP32 ini terbukti dapat meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan air, mengurangi beban kerja manual petani, serta memberikan informasi kondisi lingkungan secara real-time. Penerapan teknologi IoT pada sistem ini berpotensi mendukung pertanian cerdas dengan cara yang praktis, ekonomis, dan mudah digunakan.
