Pengaplikasian Sistem IOT Pada Alat Penyiram Tanaman Otomatis Berbasis Arduino Nano

Tanaman merupakan makhluk hidup yang dapat tumbuh dan berkembang tergantung pada perawatan dan penyiramannya, pada umumnya penyiraman tanaman dilakukan dengan cara manual, akan tetapi petani tidak punya cukup waktu untuk menyiram tanaman serta kurang mengetahui berapa banyak air yang dibutuhkan oleh tanaman, seiring dengan berkembangnya zaman pemanfaatan teknologi otomatis sudah diterapkan dalam berbagai jenis kegiatan manusia oleh karena itu dibuatlah sistem penyiraman tanaman otomatis untuk mempermudah pekerjaan petani tanpa mengganggu akrivitas lainnya, alat penyiram otomatis dapat dikembangkan dengan memanfaatkan sistem IOT, pembuatan alat penyiram tanaman ini dapat memonitoring tanaman secara merata dan dapat mengatur penyiraman tanaman hanya menggunakan smartphone yang dapat dikoneksikan ke beberapa sistem di alat penyiram tanaman, sepertI kelembaban tanah (soil moisture sensor YL-39) guna memantau jumlah kadar air dan intensitas cahaya (ligt intensity sensor GY-302) guna mengontrol pencahayaan yang cukup pada tanaman, tombol on dan off di layar smartphone untuk menyalakan dan menghidupkan alat penyiraman tanpa harus datang secara langsung dan tanpa batasan jarak, sehingga petani dapat mengurangi pekerjaan dan mendapatkan waktu yang efesien.
